Customs Charges

International Orders & Import Duties

Saddles Online ships orders on a Delivery Duty Unpaid (DDU) basis. This means that you, the buyer, are responsible for paying any import duties, taxes, or customs charges required to release your order once it reaches your country.

Your courier will get in touch with details of any applicable charges and will collect payment before delivering the saddle.

Since Brexit, there have been changes to customs and VAT rules for customers in the EU. Import fees vary depending on your location, so we recommend checking with your local customs office for guidance on what costs may apply.

If you choose not to pay any duties or fees and the parcel is returned to us, all shipping costs will be deducted from your refund. Refunds will only be processed once the saddle has been received back. Please note that parcels marked as "return to sender" can take up to 12 weeks to arrive back in the UK.

Saddles Online is not responsible for any charges related to returning a parcel. If customs fees are not paid and the saddle is not returned, it may be destroyed by customs authorities — in which case no refund will be issued.

These customs charges are determined by your country’s regulations and are beyond our control. By placing an order with us, you are agreeing to these terms.
